LegalWorks and LWA are expanding and have recruited two new lawyers to join the LWA team in our mission to keep delivering the highest quality legal advice in the Nordics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAs we want\nto offer new areas of expertise, it\u2019s only natural for us to keep expanding and\ntherefor also increase our offer,\u201d says Martin Johansson, COO of LWA. \u201cWe\u2019re in\na growth phase, with main focus on areas such as IP law consulting, med tech\nand developing our new platform LegalBuddy and other technical law projects.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two new\nlawyers are Julia Isaksson and Pernilla Blomqvist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Julia\nIsaksson is fresh from law school to LWA (but already having commercial law\nexperience from previous work), and will join the LWA team by the end of January.\nShe will support in LWA\u2019s regular advisory business, and will have the possibility\nto develop within the legal areas she has the strongest interest in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI was drawn to LWA because of their innovative approach to legal work\u201d, says Julia Isaksson. \u201cI know that similar agile methods and ways of working are common in for example the IT industry, but I don’t know any other law firms that focus on this way of working.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pernilla\nBlomqvist has previously been working as a legal counsel, at a law firm as well\nas a consultancy agency. She has joined LWA to primarily work on the LegalBuddy\nproject, meant to launch in the beginning of March 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s\nreally fun to have joined such a digital player in the legal business, and I feel\nreally excited to be part of the creation and development of a whole new-way-of-thinking\nlegal platform,\u201d says Pernilla Blomqvist. \u201cLegalBuddy is pioneering in many\nways, with it being an innovative tool to help gap the bridge between law and\nbusiness. I\u2019m really looking forward to the launch in March, it will be great.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
