Why I work with business law
I have a strong interest in the commercial application of law throughout the value chain, be it early research, technological development or more commercial applications. I believe that a good business lawyer should be technically interested and responsive to safeguard the interests of the project/client. One of the major driving forces for me is to contribute with well-balanced solutions that are both legally secure and commercially efficient.
My background
I have a Swedish master's degree in law (LL.M) and a BSc. I have more than 20 years of experience in business law support in industry, universities and research institutes. Worked for more than 10 years at AstraZeneca R&D with business and contract negotiations in both pre-clinical and clinical research (phases 1-4). I have also worked as responsible business lawyer at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Gothenburg and as Senior Corporate Lawyer at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB.
My areas of expertise
Contract law, negotiations, public research funding, state aid issues, intellectual property law, agreements within the various EU framework programs. Legal support in relation to the establishment of: test and research infrastructures, centers, research institutes, research collaborations (including consortia).
