LWA and our guinea pigs are a few months into the PlanetWorks program, so we thought it would be a good time to call up our friends at Tebrito to evaluate how they think the process is going. The rest of the world seems to have caught attention of their business as well, since all of their social media feeds are booming with articles and stories. Let’s hear what they have to say!

Q: You have had quite a lot of media attention lately, everyone seems genuinely interested in your business. Tell us about the current situation?

A: Being featured at the national news numerous times was a surprise to us and attracted a lot of attention. The impact is significant when talking to potential partners or when seeking funds. Media exposure seems to trigger the “FOMO” (Fear Of Missing Out) phenomenon and partners are extra keen to at least discuss with us. Concretely we are doing some tests with a large industrial group and have initiated discussion with a large venture capital company.

Q: What were your expectations going into this cooperation with LegalWorks Advisory?

A: We expected a partner that could help not only with expertise but also with the relevant kind of support: slowing us down when risks need to be managed in details or providing prompt and practical  solutions when the situations allows. The most important aspect is that LWA took the time to understand our business and only comes with suggestions in line with our needs, savings us a lot of time and resources.

Q: How have we lived up to (or not!) these expectations?

A: We are thrilled with the relation we have built with Ulf Lindén: we interact in a very direct way and that creates a climate of trust that helps be efficient, fast and relevant.

Q: What’s it like being one of the building blocks of PlanetWorks?

A: We feel lucky and thankful. We are used to look for public funding and other types of indirect support but didn’t expect to find this sort of help in the Legal field which we saw as a necessary pain. We now understand that building an open relationship to your lawyer strengthens the team and the confidence in the model, this was an-eye opener to us and we feel spoiled!

Q: How would you say the general green, climate-friendly and value driven trend among businesses is advancing? Will it continue to grow or will it slow down?

A: We see a growing trend for impact investment in all possible ways: family office, VCs and corporate groups. Furthermore all companies with significant size have either a sustainability manager or a sustainability aspect in their innovation strategy. It doesn’t seem to be a trend any longer but rather part of the business.
